Obviously Spider may be of a younger generation

I think you will find that back in the 80s around the time that free school milk was stopped in Yorkshire schools by Maggie Thatcher another measure taken to p155 off striking miners , was to discontinue sarcasm lessons in comprehensive schools.
To the Yorkshire massives eternal credit these were replaced by local communities ( led by Leeds Utd fc) teaching verbal abuse and violence .
These lessons were widely embraced and were so successful that even today a non Yorkshire accent will be met with " you soft c**t " and a punch on the nose. :D

Yes that's sarcasm right there, should read "Darrell Taylor and Ralph Saxelby, to name the only two Doncaster tuners"

Apologies for my lack of sense of humour and for trying to be helpful, also my inability to spot a sarcastic comment! I feel such a fool now, I don't even know who Darrell Taylor is either!
