A bit of a electricery problem, iv fitted a sip digi speedo to my px but now my horn won't work properly, the digi speedo seems to be eating all the power, like I get a bit of a horn but it sounds like it's being strangled , iv checked the output and it seems to be about 5 or 6 volts coming to the horn, if I turn an indicator on while it's running, I won't get any sound at all, with the engine off I get no horn even though I still have a battery connected, but I have disconnected the elecy start at the relay end. Any ideas?
someone told me they had heard of this before but couldn't remember where they saw a thread or on which forum to sort the problem
sip speedo for px - no horn
Have you checked the fuse?
And which wires did you disconnect at the relay?

the brown fuse is intact, no problems with it, I will double check the connections though and try another just in case
battery is brand new, I tried another battery and still nothing, both are charged
I disconnected the black wire from the yellow relay which feeds to the electric start,
the horn worked fine before fitting the sip speedo with the above the same

Bit strange as, if the fuse was intact, it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference where they went. As the fuse is just a link, all wires are connected together.MCH wrote:sorted it,
wires to fuse were the wrong way around
Even so, if it was working before, who changed them?
