[quote="Train Driver"]Al did my polini 220cc it still uses the standard carb, auto lube and SiP road exhaust.
I haven't got the dyno sheets but Al said 19bhp & loads of torque, also getting 12 MPL
It made a bit more power using the polini induction but did 7/8 MPL [/quote
I have the same that Al built for me its OUTSTANDING !! Running JL RH and torque is like nothing ive ever owned .Makes my 210's no fun at all to ride. Mine runs the Polini induction.
Did 12 miles and used 1.66 lts of fuel but big smile on face !!
Given up food to pay form petrol !!
Malossi Polini swap?

mine is the iron barrel, Al said he didn't know why as the ports are the same but the ally made more power.LI150 wrote:Are these the old steel barrel or the newer nikasil ones
Cheers Tim
I Loved the induction kit and wasn't that bothered with the consumption it was the running out in the middle of france that bothered me
TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

Sounds perfect. I'm shocked it runs ok with only a 125 main jet. It wasn't enough in my brother's polini iron barrel/grand sport/jl but it just goes to show that not every scooter runs well on the same set up, each individual case is different. Enjoy the miles!

the 125 main was perfect considering the weather/air temp, but a 128 main jet will be going innit, bit rich in summer but right in winter....
