SIP, Scooter Center, Worb 5, PM Tuning. I've been told that if the difference is 3mm between con rods, you half that & that's the spacer size needed, 1.5mm. There is also squish test to make sure the piston does not hit the head/ spark plug. Apparently the best way to check the squish is to use solder wire taped on to the piston head, plug out and turn the engine over once, by hand. This is what I am doing/trying at the moment.

If you want to longstroke a P2 standard cylinder you dont need the packer plate, the ports are raised by the crank moving an extra 1.5mm down uncovering the transfers at BDC fully. The head will need machining to suit, normally a 1.5 step. If you put the 60mm crank in a 210 Malossi you will need to lower the transfers to match the piston at BDC, this combo works very well ! Put a 1.5mm head gasket to take up the difference at tdc.Carefull attention to the transfers works well, widening the exhaust port to 67% (46 mm) will give mid 20's rear wheel......:-)
