p range motor into 50 special

right .... what i want to know is this please ..

as per title ...do you shorten the engine mount case casting equally and do you need to re machine the ends to then fit the rubber mounts ..??

Tell them not to bother and use a smallie engine instead, sticking a lardie engine in a smallframe is wrong, wrong, wrong! and will result in a crap handling, ugly lash-up of a thing! :freak:

as far as i know he has a cut frame and a px motor and just wanted to use what he had

indeed but sell the p-range motor and get a decent smallie one, it fits like its meant to go there and a has a fair bit of potential as you all well know
