I am definatley painting the inside of the panels orange, underside of mudguard orange, inside petrol tap area orange and have a set of black powder coat rims and a set of orange rims. From there I will see if it needs anything else. If it turns out shiit will repaint the areas black.

To be honest i thought i would be further on than this, but problems, problems, like every new build, dry build always something. It is running and the lights, horn work. SIP speedo, oh no, it blows fuses for fun.

Loving this thread & watching the build develop & evolve... Think the clear powder coat finish looks awesome!

What are the issues with the SIP speedo - are they difficult to set up?... I've just bought one to fit to my Motovespa 150s project - but mine's a non-battery model.

cheers
finally got the sip speedo to work, i think. sitting on idle the rpm reads 1100, does that sound about right. i thought it was a bit high, the engine sounds fine. i would probably be happy with it but just want to make sure the rpm readings are ok.
