I'll never be able to understand this kind of taste (very American).panamesc wrote:
The paint is just... tacky... Then the lights on the fender which makes it look vietbodge, especially together with the american tractor/Indian seat. To top everything after having spent a fortune the original PX kickstart pedal has been kept :O
Nevertheless, your build looks the piece, really like it although I'd sanded/wirebrushed the chassis down instead. Having said that it does look very neat, almost metallic

Yesterday, took the plunge and contacted a fuel line to the carburettor and with a bit of kicking swearing and trying every position of the GS150 key, she started no problem. Very surprised, rear light on all the time. Horn doesnt work, headlight doesn't work and brake light doesn't work. i did not connect the battery, as the last time i burned out the CDI unit. Wiring is a fk nightmare, i just don't get it. Oh, the horn switch is the cut out switch. I think i might connect the clutch and gear cables and take it to someone who knows what there doing.

Scooter more or less finished, runs through the gears ok, will need to tighten cables as I go. Still got to cut the panels, buy the drop bars and digital speedo, but I will run around on it for a month or so to make sure everything is ok. Lights and horn don't work. I did post my electrical woes but the new server has deleted the wiring diagram I used. I'm hoping it will be re-appear and someone can sort it out for me on the forum. If not I will need to visit my local scooter mechanic.
