Of all the kits available for the Vespa PX125, which would give the best performance. I am only really looking at the Malossi, Pinasco,Polini, Dr180, or the Parmakit. I dont really want a high revving screamer, more torque and an improved top end.
Am going to use the si24 carb and a sito plus exhaust.
I dont mind porting the casings.
Would the standard crank be up to the incresse in power
Thanks

I went with the DR kit as it was given to me by my sponsor cezeta
kept the standard carb but added a sito plus

dyno'd by alan (diablo)

it makes enough power just needs up gearing.
I have now given up on the 80mph all day cruiser its not possible on a vespa or lambretta
TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

is the DR the best of the kits, i understand the Parmakit and the pinasaco are alloy barrels and the others cast.

the dr is a bolt on kit and pretty basic, the others need the case transfers matched to the barrel and will benefit from more inlet timing, and you should be able to get 14-15hp no problem with a decent pipe and t5/p2 carb with the polini or malossi, i dont know much about the parma or pinasco
the standard crank will be fine, even better with 10-15mm cut off it for more inlet duration
