Best Clutch solution for 18+ BHP

What are the best options on a budget to stop the clutch slipping on my Mallossi 210 reedvalve.

All ideas welcome please

Old style clutch is your best bet and get it banded just in case.

im running standard genuine clutch with 4 plates with 4 strong springs and 3 lighter springs and thats handling 26.5bhp oh and make sure youf soak the plates for 24hrs or more

As above. l run old style clutch on TS1, genuine parts, 3 plate but Malossi gold springs, not silver. Banded basket.
Not sure if they even need banding, have run without, as the top plate has the 'ears'
I never banded baskets in the 80's. It's Cosa type that suffer from clips pinging out IMHO.

thanks guys I have followed this great advice and gone for the old style basket with a 4 plate S.I.P internals to try

You dont need 4 plates, they're a third thinner than std and the ears bend/wear easier.
Use it and see how you get on with regards to slip, then when the plates wear out go for 3 corks.

18.5hp in a Vespa lol :o ;)

Oz's only has more coz it has bretta bits on it :P
