filter oil

Anyone know if you are supposed to use filter oil with the cam lam easy breathe filters? :?:

Good question. Every foam filter that I've seen has required foam filter oil to capture small particles that the filter material alone would let past. There again, going from open bellmouth to dry Breathing Sweet must be a major step forward for clean air to your engine.

Are they dry? As I understand it the foam does bugger all except allow air to pass through. As you say Kevo, it's there to hold the oil which is what traps the dust particles. Apparently. :lol:

My foam filter has been soaked in 2 stroke oil since the day I fitted it. ;)
