panel cutout help!

hi
got no room for my TMX carb so i need to cut the right panel but never had to do that....
is there any tips or easy way to do it and to locate the corect place to put the hole ?

If your panels have a decent spray job and you don't want to damage the paintwork use a Q-max cutter. These cut through your bodywork no problem and, as it's a handtool rather than electric you can take your time and not crack all the lacquer on your paintjob.

Agreed. I got one of these after seeing a post by Soulsurfer. Works an absolute treat and made it so much easier to do and neat too.
