Hi,
I am looking to upgrade the crank ( a peace of mind thing!) as currently i have an indian web with a mec race rod fitted on a mildly tuned TS1 with JL3 etc.. and just added a TMX carb, dynoed at Replay at 22.6bhp.
The cranks on offer vary greatly with everyone saying 'theres is best' but i am looking for recommendations with people who have experience.
I am not planning on any further tuning so the above spec is what needs to be catered for, i have looked at the following variations.
1. Meceur race crank - Budget end but any good or even safer than what i have.
2. JB corsa
3. NG Evolution - Currently at Beedspeed
4. MB Alpha - pricey but the best?
Also if i go for the 60mm versions which thickness packing plate is required (std depth cylinder)
Cheers in advance
Martyn

Always hard to recommend best cranks
As you have said lots to choose from, there is also AF race crank
Ive used many over the years from MEC AF MB, not used a Corsa yet but I have no doubt I will
All I can suggest is buy the best you can afford
Remember its the heart of the engine
As for 60mm stroke basically a 1mm base gasket.
If you want to play with timing a bit then put a 110mm conrod on as well
