hi, have a recently restored Indian GP150 that i bought 90% finished and then have done the last few jobs
it has what looks like a new ign switch which initially worked perfectly but has now started playing up (lights sometimes dont switch on, etc.) and has now started to fire up and then die within a half a minute or so??
seems like the swich is acting like its "off" and killing the spark as no matter what you do it doesn't keep running
where's the best place to sort a new switch?? or anyone local to Ch-le-St, co.Durham fancy swapping for a known good onme to test??
thanks, alyn

the way to test for a switch fault is to disconnect the green from the CDI (the green that runs into the loom) if it fires up ok, then it's yer switch!!
quite common with the indian ones, as the quality does vary
scooter retorations stuff is still indian, but quality is fine
