MB 2mm Hub washer

hello all beutiful day just had to take bike out for a run about 60miles parked up and noticed rear wheel abit melty i thats the right word got home took wheel off :shock: yep tyre rubbing crankcase (weatherman 90/100/10) done about 1500 miles never noticed before i did top psi up toabout 23psi last night 1,is that to much about 15 stone :oops: i likes me cider :D 2, are the 2mm hub washer ok or a bit dodgy :?: .

ment to mention no movement on hub (bearings) all good.

I think its a bad idea, as you shouldnt run your wheels off set and if an mot tester found this, it would fail.

will a 2mm offset be notiicable when using on the road and would it be stressful re;layshaft etc.

Ive got the same problem..with wide rim on aswell...have it on good authority to just file a bit out of inside of engine case and this is what I have done..onlt removed the skid marks then a touch more..

file engine case! seems a bit extreme i'll to have think on that one. just out of curiosity what is the thickness of a lambretta casing? the more i think of this the more i don't like it (sorry lam46) thanks for info.

the thicker hub cone washer is the way to go,or just perhaps two std ones.......
and a bit more PSI in that tyre....... :D

that sounds better iv'e a few standard washers knoking about. more psi in tyre or off of me.... :lol:

I assume you mean 32psi and not 23psi in the rear tyre?

Are you using tubeless or wide rims?

I'm not sure you'd see the offset of the washer(s), is the Lambretta geometry that accurate and would it cause any layshaft or handling issues??
