Go for the BGM shocker, not only do they look good but there very easy to set up right, and most importantly if anything goes wrong its easily sorted out, used alot of these and had no problems on the later ones but had two that leaked when they first came out.

Interesting, I have brass bushes fitted to mine, supplied by Foxy, mine are done up tight, but the shock pivots freely around the bushes. Has done for years. Is this bad?sean brady scooters wrote:whilst the nuts need to be tight obviosly, they should not tighten up against the shocker bushes and so restrict the slight amount of movement that they require under suspension movement....
BTW. I don't think there's much wrong with the good old Escort. Unless they start to leak that is.
Yes mate, picked them up Yesterday. Limited supplies until next weekend - 10 sets. Toddy's ordered 4 to be picked up at donny Tomorrow, Rob Burns paid for 1 set and 1 set sold through ebay....... get them while they're hot, hot, hot!!!

Not good as this makes the shock rigid from side to side as the engine flexes on the engine mounts. This can result in a broken shock.Bufficus wrote:Interesting, I have brass bushes fitted to mine, supplied by Foxy, mine are done up tight, but the shock pivots freely around the bushes.
