piston pin circlips
I've never had a problem with these,but;
Perhaps the gudgeon pin is pressing tight against the clip so, go round the other side and try that one.
Use a pair of long-nose pliers and compress both ends of the clip, it should 'ping' out.
Remember to stuff rag in the crankcase opening to stop the clip going in there.
AND wear glasses/goggles because if it does 'ping' it WILL hit you in the eye, as i know

I've used a large flat screwdriver against one end (to stop it turning) and needle-nosed pliers to compress the other end. It also helps to stop it "pinging" out across the garage.
Remember to have the wire ends rotated to the top of the piston when you re-install.
