MT2 is okay as that is the size of my tailstock

it looks like a 12mm collet chuck

holds tools and things with a 12mm shaft size in tailstock
on the morse taper

I don't think these are for use in a lathe tailstock, but may fit in your headstock, they are more for milling, drill presses and dividing heads.
Would seem to be a #3 Morse taper with internal 10mm bore, the M12 will be the thread at the rear of the collet into which the draw-bar fits to tighten it.
