one piece clutch spider

which one do you pick, the mb one, or the foxhat
mb is pushing his for 5 real plates (3.5m)
what do i need to make my 5 plate into a 6???
im running a gp ts1
do i need a new pressure plate
what are the red and green clutch plates, the differences between the 2
do i need a new crown wheel???

if as al at foxhat says you use a foxhat spider and mb crown wheel you can go up to a 7 plate clutch no problems , ive a foxhat spider mb crown and am running a 6 plate on my ts

but carnt i reuse my old crown wheel from the 5 plate that im using or do i just buy everything new??????

If you've already got a 5 plate crownwheel you can use either spiders with 6 plates
Will need to change springs may be GT ones and change top pressure plate to 2-2.5mm.
Surflex 5 plate plates & corks will fit, just need additional one.
If its made of Metal Fettle it !!

so whats the difference between the red and green plates?????????
is one a softer feel???
the reason im asking is because ive not been riding for the last couple of years and boy has things moved on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LTH say the green ones are crap, they did some tests and a 5 plate clutch with green plates had less grip than a 4 plate clutch with Surflex B plates.
They rate the red ones though.
Slow is the new fast!
