Hello Guys.
What is the physical difference between a speedo reading off Km/h and a speedo reading off MPH?
Is it just the scale factor of the face plate or is there some gearing differences inside the speedo as well?
Thanks in advance.
km/h and Mph

If you think about it, you already know the answer all car speedos and even some scooter speedos have both mph AND kph markings. So yes, for the speed, its only the scale thats different. I've seen just the face on ebat before now.
The nly difference would be the odometer as they need to be geared either for mph or kph.

Top tip for anyone wanting a new face for their original speedo. Cam Lam sell them for 20 quid but you can buy a (probably rubbish) complete speedo off ebay for a tenner. Just take the face out of the cheapo one and stick it in the original.
