Advance / retard units. Looking to fit one to my 22 Muggy [plus an Ads rally pipe].
Has anyone tested them back to back?
I believe the Mtech is adjustable so sounds the better option.
Any thoughts?

I fitted the Mtech, got the race scooter running on the dyno, and then attached the strobe light.........watched the ign timing change in front of my eyes as i clicked through the 16 settings. Found the IGN curve that was right for me and then did back to back runs on the dyno to dial in the jetting until all was sweet. The various ign curves change fueling requirements quite substantially.

If you know what curve you want, the Agusto is the cheaper option.....if you have a spare £20 then the Chis unit gives options.

Both are fitted, strobed and dynoed in roughly the same way......except the Mtech takes a bit more fiddling, naturally, as you have to choose your curve! ;o)

Power is....................well, good. ;o)

I can do as many back 2 back dyno runs as i like, 10,000 rpm, climb off and place my hand directly on the cylinder cowl............no heat issues, cool as you like.

Power is good, engine revs on, and cylinder is coolio.
