I just bought a Torino, not sure if it's remade or not... Do the remade ones have proper Torino insignia on?

Put it on last night and it looks massive on a series 3, hopefully it will look better once the backrest etc is on... having said that I did expect it to be long (more room for the wife!) but I didn't expect it to be so deep. Seems to be well comfortable though but wont have the scoot back together to test it till Friday/Saturday.

Just IMO and apologies for saying this, but I don't think they look that nice on S3s, very big as you say. If comfort for you and the missus is what you're after, you might be better off having a standard seat recovered using a combination of memory and rubber foam, just make it about 1/2" to 3/4" thicker than normal. Also, I know it seems illogical, but Ancillottis aren't as uncomfortable in that respect as you might think, although using a backrest is more difficult. Or try a 200 Electronic seat, same principle but better looks.

Apologies not needed , I think it looks crap... Have to disagree abouit Ancillottis though, like sitting on a board!

As for the wife, this is her last chance, she's now got a comfy seat and a backrest, if she finds anything else to complain about....

(I'll buy a series two for the seat to go on...)

You must really love your wife. That seat hurts my eyes.

I sell the remade ones but I doubt if I've ever seen an original one. As a seat the quality is great, most comfortable seat I've ever tried but they only look right on S1 & S2 models. Not sure what's different about Sat & Covolo, unless it's that one has the side flashes and t'other one doesn't. I'm sure one of the Anoraks, I mean specialists, will be along shortly to clarify. :P

If the weather forecast is correct, a good set of waterproofs and possibly a small ark might be more appropriate. :(

A few years ago I had an Ancillotti recovered: changed the foam to something a bit harder and added 1" of memory foam. You'd probably not spot the difference visually unless you looked hard - but it was much more comfy than a standard seat with springs. IMO

Good luck taking the missus on the back!

Had my mrs on the back of my GP a while back and this guy was next to me with a King n Queen seat on his SX.She asked if i could get one as it looked comfortable, told her to stay at home. One thing that can destroy the look of a machine is a shite looking seat.I know people to get a bone on about GP electronic seats but they look shite, ive always liked slopeback/ancilloti seats but a lot nowadays look gay aswel, think they are from India but the style of them is so bad
