Any recommendations??

Don't want to go down the expensive BGM route. Other than that what's out there and what's your opinion on chrome or silver??

And where to buy also.

I concur. Escort or Alfa. Very good dampers apparently. I should think you can get them just about anywhere.

Have Escorts, much prefered to Italian thin things. Smoother ride, front end seems to 'hold' the road much better.

There's a trend here methinks. The best dampers you can get are apparently the Spanish ones used on the Jet and they are gert big things. ;)

Well, I daresay the Spanish dampers can be got if you know the right people. But I'm not sure they make them anymore. I didn't mean to send you off on a wild goose chase. Really Indian ones are your best bet. Besides which I seem to think that the mounting brackets for the Spanish dampers are different and may not fit a conventional set up.

Sorry should have said Escorts are the Indian ones, also make a reasonable rear damper unit.
