Hello all,

Just bought a new flywheel and crank and I've noticed that when I put the (indian) flywheel on the (Mec) crank, the flywheel can still rock very slightly. Neither item is in the scoot yet and I hadn't tightened anything up but it still looks a bit dodgy. I would have thought that the taper is what holds everything together and stops wobbles.

How accurately do they need to match? Do I need to go out and get some valve grinding paste and lap them together?

they should be a tight fit i suspect the flywheel boss is at fault can you try another flywheel just to check your taper
i wouldnt use gringing paste becouse if you still cant fit it or something happens in the future you will haave no comeback from either parts supplier if its faulty REJECT it you have the right
