hi, just purchased a 2nd hand mikuni 35 tmx carb, i'm waiting for it to arrive so i dont know what jets it has in it yet, just wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction jetting/needle wise ! i'm hoping to fit it to my ts 225 using a ram air filter & a jl 3 exhaust. i did have a look at the carb set-up on this site but it hasn't got the set-up i'm after, thanks in advance for any info. db :)

This is for my bike in the US, which I haven't seen since the Spring:

Altitude: 900 ft above sea level
Model: 1969 150 dl (GP)
Engine: TS1 225 Annihilator
Displacement: 225 cc
Exhaust: JL4
Air Filter: UNI 2.5" I.D. 4" length, dual stage with outer removed
Carb Brand: Mikuni
Carb Model: Mikuni TMX
Carb Bore: 35 mm
Main jet: 330
Idle jet: 22.5
Needle: 6EN11-57
Needle clip position: 3rd from bottom
Needle Jet: standard
Slide: 6

It's a somewhat rich setup and most likely the main jet especially. Nowhere safe to do plug chops as the country roads have too much sand / gravel from the winter. But it's close and one setting leaner on the needle is too lean. It runs well enough to keep up with the sport bikes that I ride with in the city.
