I've got a Casa performance pipe fitted, but the springs between the u-bend and the expansion are missing (long story). So I've been running without springs for some time now always with the intention of ordering replacement springs. I just didn't get round to it yet, but things seem to be working ok without them. Anyone have a view on this? Do I really need them? What are the known issues if running without? Thanks.
