HT lead

hi lads, a bit of a strange one this, just starting my sx150 1967 restoration and ii came to me completely stripped down and in boxes (i think a lot of restorations get to this stage and no further!) anyway i though on all series 3s the ht lead came from the coil then was attached to the rear frame leg (the one that goes to the footboard) by a rubber grommet under a clip spot welded to the leg then to another grommet attached by an aluminium strap/grommet to the frame, then to the spark plug, hopefully that makes sense, anyway on my frame the clip on the rear frame leg is missing, it looks like there has never been one there, did later models not have one? thanks in advance dave
