I'm running a stock crank and bgm clubman with my GT200 kit. I've heard before B7ES but that seams hot to me.

Curious what others run

Always run B8 or B9. Plugs are cheap, top ends are not.

B9 for me on a gt240. 4% oil. No problems with heat. Great kit.

I can’t comment on the 240 version but, 2 years ago, I did 2500 miles to adria on a B8 and on a GT186.

I asked as the installation instructions call for a b7es, which I always thought was too hot.

I use a B8 (or equivalent) in both my GT186 and GT200, seems fine. I have run a B7 but didn't fancy that on long runs and a B8 is fine pootling around as well

I was running the Denso equivalent of a B8 in my GT240 on that trip

On the GT200 I only use b7 if I'm going into town and know of heavy traffic. Usually fine in using a b8 and if I'm going to drive highways, I'd above 110kmh I switch to b9. It's probably fine with 8 but it wont hurt for some piece of mind.

So 7 for city traffic only.
