81 or 82 chain on down tensioner 16 x 46

So I want to go 16 x 46 with a pulldown tensioner do I use a 81 link chain or 82, or does it matter. I've had a few 81s fall to bits on the half link with 17 x 46 so I think 82 may be better but will it be to slack.

81 x46x16 82 will be slack use iwis

I'm using an IWIS 81 link chain with pull down tensioner on my 16 x 46 set up, been in for over 10k miles without any issues
