Whats the idea ?? 2 shims instead of the old 1 and a dust felt pad under the retaining plate against the bearing ...???

there is on most seals a fourth number denoting the spring strength. for eg 32.45.6...." 6" ! ..they usually go up to 10 ,so check that its a least a 5 ,
