Advice needed re. engine oil for the above clutch set-up, which I bought 5-6 years ago and mislaid after a house fire. It surfaced last week after several years in storage.

I'm fairly sure mine has the Yamaha plates, as opposed to the earlier Aprilia ones.

I seem to recall the advice back then was to use a lighter engine oil than the standard ST90. Anyone recall what oil was being recommended? Many thanks in advance.

Thanks. Did anyone else keep using their Rocho clutch?

Hi
Still using one , just rebuilt into a Avanti recently.
I’ve always used normal ST90 with no problems.

Got a Rocho clutch in an engine I bought. Not done any mileage on it yet as only recently fitted engine and cabled up, don't know what grade oil is in either but action is fairly stiff, is that to be expected?

I have a 7-plate Rocho setup, hydraulically-actuated, on my Rotax 300 setup. Works great, nice and smooth and seems to handle the power just fine. Using Maxima MTL 85wt. fluid.
