Iseries 1 loom with 2 joint green wires into 1 connector , 1 purple and 1 brown 1 separate green in thick sleeve (probably an earth?) (pink and black rear light) What goes where with regards to the regulator? All wires from stator sorted out ok to CDI. No ignition but has cut out button. Or best to bin and put in new loom?

what regulator are you using , are you using the standard junction box, no need to change the loom , the wire from the lighting coil in the stator (usually yellow) connects beside the brown from the loom this will give power to lights horn etc, green from the loom goes beside green from the stator and connects on the cdi which kills the spark from kill switch, you shouldnt have to touch black , pink, etc.make sure to fit 12v bulbs,

I've got a new loom in my series 1(12v)easy to wire up.If you've got yours stripped down, its easier to fit a new 12v loom.

Any green on the main loom is kill switch not an earth. 1 green from the stator to the CDI you only need 1 other green to the 2 nd CDI green the other end at the headset goes to the kill switch. The extra wire was used with a coil.
