Acquired a monza engine and putting it together currently, it was mostly built but I have noticed it has a 19 x 46 gearing. The builder of this was very knowledgeable about ratios etc but I wonder if this is best suitable. It wasn't run to test just started up previously and run with a 30 mil dellorto and a BGM pro clubman. Thoughts on this please and would a different set up be better?

Depends on the gearbox - 19/46 with GP 200 box is about 4.8

It's a pacemaker gearbox.

That's quite tall gearing @ 4.45 final

I understood the Monza likes to rev, so might prefer shorter gearing.

Could be worth dropping a couple of teeth of the front (17/46) which would give you 4.97

I’ve been running a monza for years and the best combo I’ve had is 16/46 on an li150 gearbox with a tsr pipe and 30mm dellorto
