Looking to purchase one of the above carbs to compliment my new 185 Casa kit. Readspeed have them, but they are the YSN copies. Anyone bought, and running a YSN one? If so, any issues, or all good!
Cheers.
PHBL 25mm Carb.

Just my personal opinion of course, but I'd go for a 22mm carb. That's what I run on my Casa 185 and it's ideal. I doubt you'd even notice the difference between a 22 and 25 to be honest.

Thanks Doom Patrol. Which make 22mm are you running? Also, have you a fast flow fuel tap fitted? Got a couple of Jettexs' in garage, so might give one of them a try first!Doom Patrol wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 3:07 pm Just my personal opinion of course, but I'd go for a 22mm carb. I'm using a Jetex myself. The only thing I would say is mine had a little work done on it. The needle valve was opened up and I use Dell'orto jets. But that's about it. Mine goes really well on it. In fact I would have upgraded, but it was going so well that I left it. Obviously you know Jetex's can be a bit of a lottery, but try them by all means.

I have three scooters, two with PHBL carbs and one with a scootopia SH2/22 carb. The two with PHBL's are,a Casa 185 and a Casa 210(big brother to the 185)and the one with an SH2/22 is a Casa 185.If your wanting a PHBL carb kit,the two I have are Cambridge Lambretta ones http://www.lambretta.co.uk/shop/advance ... =16&y=7and the other is a scootopia SH2/22 which I'm afraid you'll have to go on their site and find it.

Thanks Paul. Do you notice any difference in performance between the scoot with the 25mm and the one with the 22mm?HxPaul wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 6:01 pm I have three scooters, two with PHBL carbs and one with a scootopia SH2/22 carb.

Very little. But I had to change the float on the SH2/22 because it was catching the inside of the float chamber.I changed it for an original Dellorto float which was minutely smaller.
