The 150 and 200 maghousing differ only on the cut out on the right side transfer the 150 is smaller and you can dremmel it to fit a 200 but not the other way round

The series 1 flange also has a larger diameter outer seal that is accessible from the outside. Sorry just saying.
The series 1also has a bearing that is lubricated by petroil, all the rest are grease packed
The one ive just done was like a series 3 with an inner and outer seal, grease etc. Just that the outer seal was larger than normal and was removed from the outside.
Also the drive side seal plate had a larger than normal oil seal, not seen this before.

Eventually went to the workshop. Long story short.... Is the gap between the 2 cowls normal?

Is it really? I thought its crap, expected there to be no gap at all or absolutely minimal.

Mine was the same. Being paranoid about overheating an expensive engine I tapped the headcowling over to fill the gaps as much as possible. Not pretty but it put my mind at ease!

I had another look but no pic, the top fwd edge of the cowl is hanging over the mag housing at an angle. I would say something is not right.
Stickys doesn't show and pic. Will get one from Google.

The bolt fastening the cylinder cowl on should be fastened on top of the cowl, not underneath.

I'm not a member so can't see the page, and not sure what you mean, all bolts are installed in a normal manner.

I think he's saying that the head of the bolt is under the cowl rather than over. It does look like it.
