Well, got the gauge but the lead is only about 1 metre long and far to short to reach from the headset to the cylinder head. Do they do extensions or longer leads??

Shouldnt be hard to extend the lead. Its only 2 core wire isnt it?

Yes MB used to stock them , maybe still does or you can get online

You can't just extend thermocouple cables or you get incorrect readings due to the tiny voltage created across the junction of the joint. Special extensions which compensate are available. Should be easy to find on eBay etc.
