Whent for the back brake and nothing so I thought I'd investigate and took the hub off and gearbox oil everywhere so cleans it up and could see oil coming out the crack so I've ordered a new casing and will rebuild it and get this welded up ImageImageImageImageImageImage

bad luck matey... great images though. That crack hardly looks large enough to leak so much oil does it ... What caused the crack do you think ..? was it the stud being overtightened or pressing the bearing in ?

offset cones great ide.....never thought about them gradually turning though . I did think of fitting some to my special but it looks like you only achieve 3mm offset which doesn't sound like much. Did you find them worth fitting ?
