A strange one. After a new build with a conversion to 12v and a battery, I seem to have the speedo bulb acting like a poorly calibrated rev counter. It appears to be flashing in time with the revs, so when cruising is on permanently, as it can't flash quick enough above about 4000 revs.

Has anyone experienced this before, and if they have, what the hell have I done?

It's a new BGM wiring loom, ATambs 12v stator conversion, Wassell rectifier, Kytronic Smart Booster, Aliant ultralight 14ah battery (which I have a spare one of, if anyone wants one cheap).

I think I've wired it up as per the BGM diagram, everything else seems to work fine. Lights come on and work as normal without engine running, so I'm assuming the battery is wired in the right way.

Any suggestions very welcome.
