Has anyone ever remove the left hand side rear floor support bracket ?

The right hand bracket simply unbolts but the left hand leg is welded to the frame outrigger . Is is just spot welded ?
I'd like to remove both brackets as I am forever gouging my ankles and shins on the damn things when pushing the scoot around as I usually run with the rear floor panels removed .

Yep done that,if the engines out grind the welds off,if the engines in Dremel the welds,i just drilled and bolted it back on when needed to.

thanks dennis thats exactly what I want to do. Where about exactly is it welded ? I want to do as little damage as possible to original paintwork if I can

Get a mirror and hold in on back to see welds.
