Leak down test spark plug

Hi guys ,any good ideas on sealing the spark plug in a leak down test ? got a small leak .Need to address this permanently also

have you tried tightening it a bit more, the aluminium crush washer should seal it unless your head has a defect, maybe try a new plug, could try a little bit of silicone around the washer, but not too much you might seal it in for good,

I'd try a new plug an crush the washer down to suit.

Failing that a little grease to try to create a seal...

But if its that bad i'd be looking to get the seat machined flat..

Its a brand new head and new spark plug guys , manages to seal it with a fibre washer while l do the test which it passed :)

when i built my ts1 engine i put the champion plug in that rayspeed recommends and did my leak test all ok apart from that plug changed to ngk and no more leak never used a champion since

This was a NGK Gary .

Try a another plug and test and when that's ok test another one and keep as a spare as once engine is in the bike we really don't test them anymore
