Ok, I wondered as I've come across a number of flywheels (SIL + AFR) suffering from magnet covers coming loose and clicking as the flywheel rotates around the stator.

Piston slap would be a concern, which can be caused by wear or from a piston catching on wide ports as it tilts into them.

Hmmm, I hope that you resolve it.

Didn’t these kits have a recall recently? Piston to bore clearance to tight/to sloppy? or something, did you have yours sorted out or is it a post recall kit?

I don't think it is piston slap but sounds like it, if its catching on a port why would it stop with a few revs ?
