Just after a bit of advice on pedal fitment. Seen a few blogs about fitting but want to know if it is best to fit the pedal before the legshields go on or after. Access for fitment would be better without the legshields but don't want to risk damaging the paint trying to locate the pedal through the hole.

I've always fit the brake pedal after the legshields,wether thats right or not I dont know,the hardest part seems to be fitting pedal spring.

fit pedal first, masking tape around the legshield hole both sides.

I always fit the pedal after fitting the legshields... Spring is a PITA... And always fit the rubber to the pedal after fitting the pedal through the legshields
