Flywheel fitting - too tight

OK, got round to revisiting the scoot last night and found one of the nuts on the stator plate not fully tightened!!!!! so with that secure flywheel back on and all good. Reconnected the carb, a few stabs on the kickstart and away we go!

I’ve just had the same problem, first time ever. Did it have s**t colored brown paint on the inside on the flwheel?
Some flywheels have a kind of brown coating inside. I assume its to stop the magnets rusting etc. Wont stop it working though in my experience.

No brown mess on this one.
