Hi, in the process of renewing my steering bearings & i noticed the bottom race is quite pitted so I want to replace it, does anyone know where I can purchase the correct one for my '59 series 1 from ?as they seem to vary from frame to frame. thanks for any info ;)

If it’s like a LD I have a piece of frame tube with that race in it I’d sell off cheap. Problem is it will be expensive to ship across the pond.

Well, the search goes on! thought I'd got a new lower fame cone bearing race sorted, ordered one from camlam which stated ld / early series 1 & when it arrived the inner sleeve was about 6mm longer than my original one which measures 14mm so obviously it won't fully fit all the way in because of the lip/ridge inside the lower fork tube! does anybody know who sells the correct one for my scoot thanks for any info ;)

Why not just shorten it if all other dimensions are correct? Easy job.
