What do you think of the newly announced AF 5-Speed box for £495? Quite an amazing price when comparing to MB & Cyclone, surely making it very tempting to a larger crowd.

Does anyone have any more detail on the tests they've run so far?

Know nothing about them but if they as good as the Cyclone then that’s good. Been using one for few years now and it’s a great bit of kit. Didn’t know AF were doing one.

I’d be interested in seeing how they all actually compare on the gearing calculator..number of teeth etc? Same or different to Cyclone, MB and the Tino Satchi one that Robbo is selling ?

i have had one of these in my hands a few months ago, they have had one in a race bike to test and scott has had one in his road bike and they have withstood all punishment, both using high powered rb engines, i have seen the gear chart specifically for the five speed and its easy to work out what you need, they are made by a company who makes gearboxes for a tractor manufacturer they specialise in high load and high torque and say that this is going to be extremely strong, looks like a great piece of kit.

Well done to Rayspeed. They seem well tested and excellent value, if you really need one.
I nearly bought a Cyclone one but too many just aren’t right and they are still very expensive.
I’ve no doubt the MB ones will also be good but expensive.
