i have just bought a 1960 chrome ring series 2 li 150 frame and forks,i have a tv headset top and bottom which i would like to use but when i tried it on it looked as if the fork tube was about 25mm too short.
does this mean that i have to get an li headset or can i extend the tube?
thanks mick.

Are you talking S2 or S3 TV headset?

As far as I know, the only difference between the s2 TV headset and the s2 Li headset is the switchgear.Make sure that the forks are pushed right up at the bottom and the bearings are seated correctly.

ser 2 li150 frame, ser 2 tv headset i was just trying them together so i had not even put the bearings in yet,but it seems as though the forks are not long enough,as i have just bought the forks with the frame i was wondering if i had been given the wrong forks? and they may be off a GP.

Or Spanish s3 are about 3mm too short.

I just saw 25mm! They'd have to be gp then. But I didn't think even they were that much different.
