series 2 forks

after looking again it seems as though they are LI forks but there is a weld around the tube just underneath the thread on the top although the weld is very good it may mean that there has been a piece cut out at some time to lower the forks.

just out of curiosity Paul,what is the difference in the sreies 2 switchgear between the tv and li ?

I'd check inside the forks - it's easy to drill holes to fit the bolt in buffers.
Did you have to do that?

The TV has an ignition switch and the swichgear is similar to a SX or GP.https://www.flickr.com/photos/ger_oconnell/4733655588/
