Afternoon!
I have just bought myself anther old ratty series 2 as a little project. Looking to keep the ratty look but update the essentials - suspension, wheels, electrics, brakes, engine etc etc.
In my shed I have a CASA 185 kit that needs replating (it has been a door stop for over a year!) and I am thinking that I have an opportunity to use it now. As I have to have it replated I'm thinking that I might have a go at a bit of home tuning - just to have a go really. Not looking for anything top end speedy (I have a tuned TS1-230 for that) looking for a nice torquey ride to bob around on.
Has anyone on here any experience of the CASA and is it worth me doing any tuning on it? As I say it's going to have a replate anyway so why not have a play
All thoughts and advice appreciated as always
A tuned CASA 185 in a series 2 ????

Wasn't it a Casa 185 that JB did a mild tune on when Andy was still editor at Scootering? That would be an excellent one to follow as it showed some photos of the work and detailed the port timings to take it to.
Best you get looking for a copy or hope someone might post you it.
Good luck.

Great article, sounds like it will be worth doing. It's one thing I've never done so looks like I'm going to learn how to tune Happy days!
