Could do with a longer range tank, I'd prefer to keep the original toolbox, so what options are there for a reliable tank that doesn't break the bank and doesn't leak?

11.5 litre tank with cut out for carb fits well and you only lose the air box. Bought mine from justlambretta , Corado on here, many years ago and very good quality. You also don't need more than 11.5 litres if you ride with mates with standard tanks imo.

I've got to agree with Timbo. I used a similar tank to the one he describes on the way to Italy, but found that whilst I had an 11 litre tank, I only had a 6 litre arse.

Take no notice of the two above :o
What do they know :D :D
The Diablo tank is my choice, I have one with the toolbox and 15 litres.

TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

Yep, I know Diablo tanks, had one years ago. Good quality, 3x the price, plus; have you measured your capacity, I had a small toolbox area in mine and it was 14 litres

Chinese stainless tank from beedspeed mines been in 3 years never had a problem with it. Best method of fitment I've seen uses a big strap around the tank no chance of it vibrating to bits then
