Lambretta crank

Hi, I,ve blown my engine up and sheared the sx crank so I,m looking to upgrade to a gp crank. I,m looking to replace it with a mec-euro item , is this I a good crank ? and also they sell them in two sizes , which one is suitable for my engine , all standard internal set up with ally barrel 225 kit 30mm delly and sterling exhaust , cheers

In answer to your question,yes they are a good replacement crankshaft.The standard size is 58x107.

Blimey Woody. With that kit, I'm surprised the SX crank lasted 5 minutes. ;)

Yeah decent enough for what you need... Glasgow Lambretta have got them cheap as chips... Youll also need to change the magside bearing etc, and your flywheel...

Sorry to jump in on your post, I've got a sterling exhaust to put on my gp and a 26mm carb would this be OK on crank and piston

Yes mate I believe it would as I use a similar set up on one of my other scoots

The mec crank would be fine and are good value. Got the 60/107 from glasgow lambretta a couple of years ago and used it in an imola with no issues

hope its not the weak 107 rod type ,, i have around 30 in a box here i refuse to use prob ok on a std motor though
