I've just fitted a long range tank - one that allows you to keep your toolbox - and the top of the carb was way too close to the bottom of the tank. I'm running a dell orto 30mm and it was on a short MB manifold with a rubber. I got a longer AF manifold and slightly longer rubber but the angle means I'm still too close to the tank - further out but higher up if you know what I mean.

Does anyone know if there are manifolds which come out at less of an angle, more horizontal like. Ben at Rayspeed thought SIP might do one but there aren't any pictures on their site. I'll give them a call after the weekend but thought I'd just ask in the meantime.

Thanks

John

Sorry, is the carb on the traditional side, or the TS1 side?

I assume from the replies that you want one for the traditional side. If so, be careful what you wish for. If the carb sits lower to accommodate your tank, the float bowl may hit the head cowling.

You'll need to spend some time with a dremmel to get it to flow, it's quite restricted inside.
